Senior JAVA Developer for Pathway team

We are pathway solutions and want to revolutionize accounting with you!

Our goal is to automate accounting together with 10,000 entrepreneurs. Companies of all sizes - Shopify startups and SaaS companies - use our software to assign orders to payments and post them automatically. We can only achieve this goal together with a team that questions the status quo.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

Monitoring/Alerting: Improving back-end monitoring (especially for critical processes), implementing log-based alerting, and performance tracking.
Tracing: Implementing request tracing (e.g., Google Cloud Trace via Micrometer) and knowledge transfer.
Infrastructure: Improving load balancer setup, migrating object storage , and migrating RabbitMQ (netcup to GCP).
Security: Enhancing Spring Security and addressing security issues.
Testing: Improving E2E testing (Cypress/CypressStudio integration, test data strategy for local/cloud), and integrating Sonarqube.
Supporting our Lead developer and Product manager in strategic projects.
Mentoring junior team members.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

You have very good knowledge and experience in Java and Spring Boot.
You have extensive experience with GCP / AWS or other cloud platforms.
You have good verbal and written English skills.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with ReactJS would be an advantage.
Interest and experience in e-commerce & software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models in the financial sector.

Financial expectations

Gross salary 3600-6300 EUR. 💸 Keep in mind that we are open to discuss your salary based on your competence and experience.
