We are looking for a Project Manager to plan, execute and deliver highly complex software projects, for direct integration with an international company dedicated to digital banking transformation.

📍 Porto (you have to be based in Portugal)

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a similar field;
• Certification in Project Management (PMI, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, Prince2, etc.) will be valued;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably leading technical software development teams;
• Proven experience in software development life cycles and change management projects;
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Monday, Asana or similar);
• Excellent ability to prepare and present commercial proposals, gathering and aligning requirements with clients;
• Open-minded and willing to learn new technologies, methodologies and markets;
• Willingness to manage projects in different time zones and to travel both nationally and internationally;
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) required;
• Strong problem-solving skills, negotiation, proactivity, dynamism and a high sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects following the defined methodology (planning, control, evaluation, reporting and closure);
• Define the organization of the project team and allocate resources according to technical and business needs;
• Identify, assess and monitor risks throughout the project life cycle, proposing mitigation actions;
• Coordinate the team's regular communication with the client, preparing progress reports and status updates;
• Coach and continuous development of team members, promoting good management practices, collaboration and continuous improvement;
• Plan and coordinate national and international projects, ensuring financial and operational control;
• Analyze and discuss commercial proposals whenever necessary, intervening in negotiations and aligning expectations;
• Collaborate with software development teams in a Software Factory model, ensuring the organization and delivery of valuable solutions for the client.
