We are looking for a Radio Optimization Engineer in Spain to validate and optimize service levels and network performance in various scenarios.
Job Description: At Connect44, we are seeking a highly skilled Radio Optimization Engineer to validate and optimize service levels and network performance in various scenarios, including new site deployments, swaps, and capacity expansions.
This role requires advanced technical expertise in Nokia and/or Ericsson network solutions, as well as in-depth knowledge of radio access technologies, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and capacity management to ensure high-quality mobile network services.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
In-depth knowledge of radio access technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR).
Proficiency in performance analysis and radio troubleshooting.
Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing VoLTE (latency, SIP protocol, and MOS).
Expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing throughput in LTE/NR.
Capacity optimization and load-balancing algorithms.
Configuration and troubleshooting of handover parameters and events.
Proficient use of OSS platforms for performance monitoring and optimization.
Experience with post-drive test analysis tools such as Assistant, TIMS, and XCAL.
Strong understanding of mobile network architectures and collaboration with other teams for E2E issue resolution.
Preparation of performance and benchmarking reports.
Extensive knowledge of mobile radio network planning.
Experience in cell parameter planning, including frequencies, neighbors, power, tilt, and load balancing.
Validation, testing, and implementation of new radio features.
Requirements: 1.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with Nokia and/or Ericsson.
Advanced technical knowledge of radio access technologies.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex mobile network issues.
Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written.
MSc or BSc in Telecommunications Engineering.
