Back End Developer

We are currently looking for a Back End Developer to work on a long term project with a Global Retail company, based in Malmo.

This is a Freelance role.

Background:

The Online Payments product is a key component of the digital transformation strategy, designed to provide Retailers with a seamless ecommerce experience. This product forms an integral part of the Omni-channel Payments product.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist the team in delivering high-quality Online Payments Product, focusing on .Net development, scalability, and standards. The consultant will support technical decision-making, ensure security compliance, and collaborate with other product teams to create a seamless omnichannel retail experience.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist in: Developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Online Payments Product while supporting the team with best practices, technical standards, and resolving complex issues that arise during the development process.

The main tasks in the assignment are as below:

• Develop a well-architected, scalable, and high-performing solution
• Define and support technical standards and best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure that applications meet required quality and security standards.
• Collaborate with other product teams to deliver an omnichannel retail experience.
• Provide expert-level knowledge of .Net framework and best practices.
• Support the CI/CD pipeline setups

Requirements:

• Expertise in ASP.NET Core- Building web applications, APIs, and microservices
• Expertise in RESTful APIs- Designing and consuming APIs for data exchange.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of CI/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOPs
• Experience of integrations with Payment Service Providers or payment gateways
• Experience of working with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of omnichannel retail environments
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong understanding of security and quality standards in development around online payments for ecommerce
• Fluent in English
