People Operations Specialist EMEA – Automotive Business
Are you passionate about HR and eager to make a difference in a dynamic and growing team? We are looking for a People Operational Specialist who is interested in joining the People service team in EMEA for the new SKF Automotive. This is a team that will support the EMEA region with different HR tasks, and as we are building our new business, we are creating this team from scratch. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of shaping the SKF Automotives People Service department, where your ideas and efforts will directly impact the success.
Daily, you will be involved in a wide range of HR activities, from the administration of HR data to the continuous improvement of HR processes. You will handle various employee processes and requests, ensuring that each interaction is handled with the utmost care and professionalism. You will collaborate closely with colleagues both locally and across the EMEA region, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data in both local and global systems, ensuring that our records are always reliable and accessible. As we are building a new company, you will also be developing and refining ways of working and processes for our people service department, ensuring that our operations are efficient and effective. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring consistent data quality and driving efficiency through process improvements and innovations. You will also support HR analytics and reporting, providing valuable insights that will help shape our HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Employee processes: Make a difference by handling employee processes and requests.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues locally and across the EMEA region.
- Data management: Maintain employee data in local and global systems, ensuring consistent data quality.
- Process improvements: Make recommendations and work with the development of processes and ways of working.
- Project participation: Take part in HR transformation projects.
Requirements
- University degree within HR, Business Administration, or equivalent education.
- Have been working at a shared service center for a few years, and have the ability to manage time, organize, and prioritize your tasks independently.
- Comfortable with using English as your primary working language, and additionally, advanced knowledge of German as your second working language.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office packages and HCM systems.
- Positive can-do mindset, collaborative, flexible, resourceful, with a desire to grow, learn, and advance.
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
