We are looking for an experienced Digital Solutions Subject Matter Expert with a solid background in developing, delivering, and enhancing digital experiences in the aviation domain. This role requires deep expertise in digital commerce platforms, post-booking and payment flows, and system integrations, particularly involving Passenger Service Systems (PSS). A strong understanding of Adobe Experience Cloud tools, cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), and scalable digital architecture is essential.
This is a cross-functional leadership role, ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on technical capabilities. You’ll work across product, architecture, engineering, and business teams to design and implement seamless digital journeys across web and mobile platforms. A proven track record in customer-centric design, cloud-native systems, and agile methodologies is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Capability Leadership
- Provide expert guidance on booking, post-booking, payment, and backend integration processes within airline digital platforms.
- Omni-Channel Experience Delivery
- Contribute to the rollout and optimization of digital user journeys using tools such as Adobe Experience Manager, Analytics, Target, and Campaign.
- Cloud Platform Enablement
- Collaborate with technical teams to design cloud-native solutions on Azure and AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Process Design & Optimization
- Define digital business flows aligned with operational requirements and technical capabilities, streamlining and improving customer interactions.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate across business units including UX, finance, operations, and technology to align on capability development and delivery timelines.
- Agile Collaboration
- Actively support agile teams by refining requirements, validating user stories, and participating in backlog grooming and sprint reviews.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
- Provide guidance to teams on aviation-specific processes, digital tooling, and system integration best practices.
- Troubleshooting & Incident Management
- Lead analysis and resolution of complex issues across the digital stack, including front-end, middleware, and third-party systems.
- Testing & Quality Oversight
- Support testing strategies and acceptance criteria to ensure new features meet quality, performance, and compliance standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience delivering large-scale digital products, with strong domain expertise in the aviation sector.
- Extensive experience with PSS platforms (e.g., Amadeus) and key functions such as reservations, ticketing, and DCS.
- Strong understanding of digital commerce ecosystems, including customer journeys from booking through to payment and operations.
- Proficient in modern development technologies such as React, Angular, Java, Node.js, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud components and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
- Familiar with enterprise integration, API design, SOA patterns, and high-transaction digital environments.
- Demonstrated success in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks).
- Effective communicator with experience engaging across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comfortable creating documentation, process maps, and solution design materials.
- Exposure to systems such as loyalty programs, CRM, merchandising, and NDC platforms is a plus
