Python Developer

With a strong presence in global financial markets, we are expanding our Singapore office and seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our high-performance engineering team.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Python Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust trading applications and data processing pipelines. You’ll work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and infrastructure teams to build scalable and low-latency systems for real-time decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain trading-related applications, tools, and platforms using Python.
• Integrate with market data feeds, order management systems (OMS), and execution platforms.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and data scientists to implement models and strategies.
• Design scalable data pipelines for real-time and historical data processing.
• Optimize performance of existing systems, ensuring minimal latency and high availability.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support deployment activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
• Solid understanding of financial instruments, market structure, or trading workflows.
• Prior experience in trading, asset management, hedge fund, or financial services is essential.
• Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in working with SQL/NoSQL databases and data serialization formats (e.g., JSON, Avro).
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
