About the role:

We seek a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our marketing and digital development team. You will play a key role in managing, maintaining, and scaling our WordPress-based websites. Your work will directly impact our SEO strategy, lead generation, service booking flow, and user experience.

This position requires both creative and technical skills, as you will build, optimize, and troubleshoot custom WordPress themes, Elementor-based pages, and plugin functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites for the company and its sub-brands.
• Collaborate with SEO specialists and marketers to implement SEO-optimized structures (meta, schema, headings, interlinking, etc.).
• Customize and extend themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Elementor.
• Ensure website speed optimization, security, and mobile-first performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, plugin conflicts, and technical SEO issues.
• Build landing pages for campaigns and A/B tests aligned with performance marketing goals.
• Maintain plugin compatibility and perform regular WordPress updates and backups.
• Work with graphic designers and content writers to ensure visual and content coherence.
• Monitor website analytics and suggest improvements for conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Strong experience with Elementor, Yoast SEO, WP Rocket, and other core plugins.
• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and schema markup implementation.
• Ability to debug across browsers and devices.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and techniques to pas​s PageSpeed Insights.
• Experience integrating APIs (e.g., Calendly, booking systems, CRMs).
• Familiar with staging environments and version control (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on multi-site WordPress installations.
• Background in home service or local SEO-focused businesses.
• Familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), CPT UI, and WPML or Polylang.
• Understanding of lead tracking tools and call conversion tracking setup.
