Role

We’re hiring a Game Designer to lead the design of mobile-friendly games inside Meta Horizon Worlds. These are casual, 3D games built specifically for mobile players, with a focus on social interaction, simple mechanics, and strong replay value.

If you've built for Roblox or similar platforms, you'll feel right at home.

What You'll Do

• Design mobile-optimized casual games within Horizon Worlds
• Build gameplay systems using in-platform tools and visual scripting
• Prototype core loops, win conditions, and social features
• Collaborate with artists and developers to polish user experience
• Design intuitive UI and feedback systems for small screens
• Balance for short play sessions and mobile performance

What We Are Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in game design, ideally on mobile, UGC, or social platforms
• Experience with Horizon Worlds, Roblox, or other low-code/visual scripting tools
• Strong grasp of casual game loops, rewards, and pacing
• Bonus: skills in 3D modeling, animation, or level design tools (e.g., Blender, Maya)
• A portfolio that demonstrates polished, accessible, mobile-friendly game design

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with casual multiplayer or social mechanics
• Experience optimizing gameplay for mobile usability and load times
• Comfort with rapid iteration and liveops-driven development
