About the project:

We are seeking an experienced Project/Scrum Manager to support the final stages of our IDMP (Identification of Medicinal Products) program as it transitions into a Business-As-Usual (BAU) state. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and successful handover of the program to operational teams and embedding the necessary processes for ongoing management and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Project Management: Support the oversight of the final deliverables of the IDMP program, ensuring all milestones are met and the transition plan is executed efficiently.

• Scrum Management: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including reviews, and PI planning, ensuring the team remains focused and productive.

• Stakeholder Communication: Act as one of the primary point of contact between project teams, business units, and senior management, providing regular updates on progress and any issues.

• Risk and Issue Management: Support the identification of potential risks and issues during the transition phase and work proactively with teams to develop mitigation strategies.

• Transition Planning: Develop and manage the transition plan to move the IDMP program from a project-based approach to a Business As Usual (BAU) model, ensuring all processes, documentation, and knowledge are effectively transferred. Support the work where necessary.

• Change Management: Support the business in adapting to new processes, ensuring that the necessary training and support are provided to operational teams.

• Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and handed over to the relevant BAU teams for future reference.

• Performance Monitoring: Support the establishment of metrics to monitor the performance of the IDMP processes post-transition, ensuring they meet regulatory and business requirements.

Required qualifications:

Experience with large projects is important. This person will have a team of 50 people directly and about 100 people indirectly (international team).

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in Scrum methodology.

• Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent is required.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps, MS Project) and the ISO IDMP.

Nice to have qualifications:

• IDMP Knowledge: Familiarity with the Identification of Medicinal Products (IDMP) standards and regulatory requirements.

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

• Previous experience managing transitions from project to BAU is highly desirable.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

• Knowledge of data management and regulatory compliance processes.

• Experience in process improvement and change management.
