Hello, we’re Glowmade! We’re an exciting independent company and the goal of our games is to unlock people's imagination and help them express themselves in wonderful, fun ways. Right now we’re busy building King of Meat! A very ambitious creative multiplayer cooperative game. We can’t say too much more just yet.

This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in our expanding team. Reporting to the Head of Production, Dee Patel, you’ll be working with our Leads and their Teams. Responsible for resources, scheduling and completion of deliverables. You’ll be involved at all stages of production on the road to completion and release. You will need to excel in managing both the high level tasks as well as dealing with all the minutiae of issues that occur on a day to day basis.

From day one we would like you to...

  • Jump enthusiastically into understanding the ambition of the game, define the scope and break it down into a manageable schedule.
  • Work alongside the rest of the production team and the wider team and start getting a feel for what resources and assistance is required and when.

In six months you will be...

  • A central, supportive member of our team, helping to keep everything moving forward towards the project schedule and goals.
  • Deeply involved with the day-to-day project, including status tracking, flagging risks, and resolving problems.
  • Provide insights of the process used on the project and make recommendations on how to improve efficiency.
  • Aligning expectations across multiple stakeholders, both inside and outside of the studio.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will…

  • Have excellent knowledge of Jira and other task tracking tools.
  • Have experience managing a project across multiple platforms.
  • A great understanding of Game Development and Production
  • Been in Production for 5+ years.
  • Have experience working on projects on teams of 50+ people,
  • Displays great communication skills and maturity
  • Experience mentoring and managing junior production team members.
  • Shipped at least one Console/PC project.

Advantageous qualities

  • Experience working on a Live Service Project
  • Interest in Game Engines and Game Development Technology/Tools.
