Job profile

As a UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer at Holloid, you will be instrumental in shaping and building the user-facing aspects of our SaaS platform. This role involves an approximate 70% focus on frontend coding and 30% on UI design activities. Your role is to:

● Play a key role in hands-on frontend development using React, Material UI, Vite, and related technologies to build accessible web applications.

●  Take full ownership of the UI/UX design process; define user experiences by creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes based on product requirements and user needs; ensure the technical feasibility of designs; and subsequently translate these into clean, maintainable, and well-documented frontend code.

●    Collaborate closely with other developers, and data scientists to understand requirements and ensure a seamless user experience.

●    Integrate frontend components with our APIs (documented via Swagger)

●   Develop, maintain, and evolve our design language and UI component library, ensuring its robustness and adaptability to support ongoing UI development and future enhancements.

●    Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance across various devices.

Requirements

●  Solid experience as a UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer, with a portfolio showcasing your application of UI/UX principles and your work on user-facing features.

●  Strong skills in modern frontend technologies, including: React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3. Experience with Material UI (or similar component libraries like Ant Design, Bootstrap) and Vite is a plus.

●   Familiarity with Web Accessibility Standards (e.g., WCAG) and an interest in implementing accessible UIs.

●     Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).

●     Experience with version control systems (Git).

●     Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

●     Strong communication and collaboration skills.

●     Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

●     Familiarity working with agile methodologies and Jira.
