👥 Your role in the team

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch processing
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data infrastructure performance
• Collaborate and advise on our backend services to ensure seamless data delivery to customers
• Help to improve data quality and integrity through optimization, testing, and tooling
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team with data scientists and aviation experts to define and develop what metrics are important to improve efficiency and operations in aviation
• Drive innovation by contributing ideas for code improvements, addressing technical debt, and optimizing system stability and cost efficiency
• Work in an agile environment using Scrum, benefiting from feedback through pair-programming and code reviews

Qualifications

• Solid programming experience in Java, Kotlin or Scala
• Understanding of modern software architecture concepts and a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Preferably, you have experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)
• Ideally, familiarity with big data processing and storage technologies (e.g., Apache Beam, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Big Query, Elasticsearch,..)
• Experience with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes is a plus.
• A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Education

• Completed technical or scientific Master's degree (University of Applied Sciences or University) in Computer Science or Data Engineering.
