Security Engineer / Pentester

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Security Engineer who’s excited to build, monitor, and improve the security of our hybrid infrastructure—alongside agile squads, DevOps teams, and our CISO.

What You'll do

You'll be a key player in securing our internal IT landscape and digital services in a remote-friendly, 24/7 internet-facing environment. From Azure cloud deployments to on-prem environments, you’ll ensure safety at every level:

• Monitor & investigate: Review dashboards, detect anomalies, manage alerts, and launch countermeasures
• Manage vulnerabilities: Coordinate external scans and pen tests, collaborate with development squads for remediation
• Respond to incidents: Lead investigations, forensics, and coordination with our external SOC
• Advise & automate: Suggest best practices, write scripts, and streamline security processes
• Secure endpoints: Oversee patching, hardening, and updates for systems via Intune & Defender
• Support secure development: Help teams with security reviews, threat modeling, and code scans (tools like Burp/ZAP/Metasploit)

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in IT, with strong security interest or specialization
• Comfortable in a hybrid environment (on-prem + Azure cloud)
• Knowledge of endpoint protection, network security, vulnerability management, and digital forensics
• Skilled in Windows (Active Directory, Azure AD); Linux is a plus
• Communicative, hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow
• Agile mindset, team player, fluent in English and either French or Dutch
• Experience with pentesting or tools like Burp Suite, ZAP, or Metasploit
