Smart Hands Data Center Engineer

We are looking for hands-on and detail-oriented Smart Hands Data Center Engineers to support the physical infrastructure of our data center in Helsinki. The primary responsibilities include racking, stacking, cabling, and ongoing hardware support. This role is critical to maintaining uptime and ensuring efficient deployment and maintenance of IT equipment.

Working hours: shifts (8 hours).

Location: Helsinki.

Installation & Maintenance:

• Perform racking and stacking of servers, network devices, and storage systems.
• Execute structured cabling (fiber and copper) according to standards and documentation.
• Label, route, and manage cables to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Assist with hardware replacements, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Smart Hands Support:

• Provide physical support for remote teams (e.g., rebooting devices, swapping components).
• Escort vendors and ensure compliance with site access protocols.
• Perform visual inspections and report anomalies (e.g., LED status, cable disconnections).
• Support inventory management by logging equipment movements and updates.
