Production Manager

Job Title: Shift Manager – Food Manufacturing

Location: Macroom, County Cork, Ireland | Type: Full-Time | Shift-Based

An established food manufacturing company is seeking a Shift Manager to lead and coordinate production teams across shifts. The role focuses on achieving key KPIs including product quality, order fulfilment, safety, and efficiency, while also supporting or covering for the Plant Manager as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead shift teams to meet production and quality targets
• Ensure GMP, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained
• Manage labour and production costs
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with departments including QA, Maintenance, Logistics, and HR
• Train, develop, and performance-manage shift staff

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a supervisory/management role in food manufacturing
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• SAP/MES/SCADA and Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Third-level qualification in a relevant field desirable
