Product Designer

A top client of ours is looking for a Product Designer on a 6 month contract in the heart of Dublin. The role is 2/3 days on site per week. The role is a day rate contract role.

Overview

We are seeking a Product Designer to join our team and help shape intuitive, engaging digital experiences for our users. As a key contributor to our design team, you will be responsible for translating user needs and business objectives into clear, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs. Your primary focus will be on our player-facing Mobile Application and Website, with opportunities to collaborate across internal platforms and teams.

This is a unique opportunity to join the design function at an early stage, influencing both our user experience direction and the processes that drive design collaboration across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end product design, from discovery and ideation through to high-fidelity UI and developer handoff.
• Translate user and business needs into seamless flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, integrating insights into iterative design cycles.
• Work closely with developers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality implementation of design solutions.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system and reusable component libraries.
• Advocate for users while balancing technical and business constraints.
• Effectively present and communicate design concepts and decisions to teams and stakeholders.

About You

• 2–4 years of experience in a Product Design / UX / UI role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and impact across web and/or mobile applications.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
• Comfortable using user research techniques and working with data to inform design decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Experience working within Agile environments.
• Familiarity with motion design or micro-interactions .
• Experience designing for gaming, entertainment, or digital media platforms.
