Senior Web Data Analyst

Join DiscoverCars.com and help us scale the world’s leading global car‑rental marketplace. We are seeking a data‑driven Senior Web & Product Analytics Specialist who will turn data into insights that drive growth and elevate our customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create reports and dashboards using various internal data sources, and when needed, integrate with web analytics.
• Analyze and interpret user behavior and website traffic through Google Analytics, the PostHog product analytics platform.
• Manage and optimize Google Tag Manager (GTM) setup and data collection.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing teams to measure and improve the performance of Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights to optimize customer journeys, conversion rates, and overall marketing performance.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker Studio, BigQuery, and other BI tools when applicable.
• Analyze results of A/B tests and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) as an analyst of online user behaviour, preferably in the travel or e-commerce industry.
• Expert-level knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Google Ads.
• Familiarity with Facebook Ads analytics and tracking.
• Experience working with databases and SQL (preferably with BigQuery).
• Familiarity or willingness to learn PostHog or similar product analytics platforms.
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities to translate complex data into clear business insights.
