Java Developer

Software Maintenance – integration, testing, support, and minor development activities

Technical Know – How:-

• Candidate should have 6 + yrs of Experience as a Developer.
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (basic skills) & DBaaS (plus)
• Shell scripting (bash, ksh, cmd) on RHEL / Windows
• Java / SpringBoot (would be an advantage)
• SaaS / Cloud (basic knowledge)
• Gitlab (Git version control, CI/CD)
• Business applications OBS / COBOL programming & Easytax (would be an advantage)

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for upgrading the vendor applications together with the system administration team to the latest supported versions of the underlying components to ensure the platform is not exposed to any vulnerabilities.
• Deployment & testing support on migration initiatives for the vendor applications from Oracle database to Oracle DBaaS & Windows to Linux would also be required.
• The team is working in an agile mode very closely related to the business functions to ensure that the solution will serve the business needs in the best possible way. You will be the central touchpoint for level three support of these applications.

Language competencies:-

• English Fluency.
• German will be an Advantage
