Software Engineer

What You Will Do

As a Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain resilient solutions in Rust and Scala that handle vast volumes of logfile and security event data.
• Support the full solution lifecycle—from development to deployment and operational support.
• Improve and automate operational processes following DevOps best practices.
• Work with Kafka and contribute to Data Mesh-based architecture.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor others, promoting a culture of learning and inclusion.
• Ensure the 24/7 reliability of a mission-critical system, actively contributing to its stability and performance.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years as a Software Engineer, with experience in system reliability, streaming data, and security logging.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Rust and Scala
• Experience with Kafka, DevOps practices, and Data Mesh
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Exposure to Grafana stack (Loki, Tempo, Mimir) is a plus
• Basic understanding of networking and enterprise security (DNS, VPN, firewalls)
