Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Backend Golang Engineer at ExpressVPN in London, with flexibility for remote work. As a Backend Golang Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the scalability and performance of the systems.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Golang (Go) programming language
  • Experience with backend development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
  • Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching systems
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of API design and development
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
