IF YOU ARE
- Experienced with at least 4 years as a software or DevOps engineer
- Strong in C and C++, skilled in working with source code, managing dependencies, and creating patches
- Skilled in releasing native applications on Windows platforms
- Competent in administering Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experienced with build tools including CMake, Autotools, nmake, and gcc
- Proficient in Git and other version control systems
- Knowledgeable in the full development lifecycle covering design, testing, implementation, documentation, and release management using modern collaboration tools
- Competent in package building with familiarity in compilers, utilities, and packaging tools
- Adept at troubleshooting complex issues and identifying effective solutions
- Skilled in fixing bugs across multiple programming languages and contributing to upstream projects
- Persistent in driving continuous improvement and embracing new challenges
- Independent and collaborative in team environments
- Capable of daily communication with client-side software engineers in English at an intermediate level
- Experienced in contributing to open-source repositories (would be a plus)
- Familiar with CI/CD practices (nice to have)
- Skilled in packaging software with Homebrew, RPM, or Conda (as an advantage)
- Experienced in Python with knowledge of the R programming language (would be a plus)
- Utilize C/C++ and potentially Python or R, package building, and Conda
- Create and update conda recipes for building, testing, and releasing conda packages
- Identify and automate repetitive manual tasks
- Elicit requirements, estimate scope, and plan sprints
- Communicate directly and serve as a key member of the client's team
- Build strong relationships with open-source package maintainers and resolve issues
- Have a comprehensive health insurance package
