SENIOR IOS ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is a Toronto-based technology company specializing in AI-powered healthcare consumer experience (CX) platforms. The company is developing systems that predict user behavior in health programs by aggregating historical engagement data into models. Additionally, they are working on personalizing user content by analyzing user profiles and previous content interactions. These innovations aim to tailor health program recommendations and content delivery to individual needs. It offers health insurance, employee health benefits, digital health, patient engagement and care, consumer health, and other services. The company has evolved from serving employers to supporting payers, providers, and consumer health partners across the U.S., Canada, and Asia-Pacific.

You’ll build native mobile applications for iOS. You work as part of a small cross-functional team to deliver features on the roadmap and continually maintain and improve a specific product area. You will be responsible for large pieces of work, setting best practices, and mentoring other team members.

Requirements

• Experience building native iOS applications
• Knowledge and understanding of mobile development best practices
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites
• Ability to work with CI tools to support mobile builds and releases.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain native mobile applications using modern, declarative user interfaces, including SwiftUI, and support Swift.
• Architect and develop applications following clean architecture principles.
• Participate in technical design and planning discussions.
• Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with UX designers to build polished user interfaces.
• Adhere to all system operation policies, including but not limited to Access Control, Encryption Control, Logging, Change Management, Platform Security, System Configuration, Physical and Incident Management policies.
• Write high-quality code with automated test coverage.
• Deliver work on well-communicated timelines.
• Write correct and clean code with guidance and consistently follow stated best practices.
• Understand how their work fits into the team and company objectives.
• Prioritize tasks without getting caught up in unimportant details.
• Communicate assumptions and get clarification on tasks up front to minimize the need for rework.
• Solicit feedback from others and give timely, helpful feedback to peers and managers.
