UX UI Graphic Designer

YOUR ROLE:

As a UI/UX and Graphic Designer at Stabal, you’ll be essential in crafting visually compelling, user-centred digital experiences across a range of digital content, from educational materials to short-form series and interactive platforms. Balancing aesthetics with functionality, you’ll design intuitive interfaces, animations, and visuals that enhance user engagement. 

We’re seeking a creative problem-solver with expertise in design tools, an understanding of user-centred design, and a forward-thinking approach to new technologies like AI integration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• User Interface & Experience Design: Develop visually appealing and intuitive interfaces for websites, apps, and digital platforms, ensuring seamless, user-centred experiences. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design improvements. 
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts, facilitating feedback and iteration early in the design process. 
• Graphic & Motion Design: Design engaging static graphics / illustrations and motion graphics or animations that align with Stabal’s brand identity, enhancing user engagement across platforms. 
• Responsive & Cross-Platform Design: Ensure designs are optimized for various devices and screen sizes, maintaining consistency and brand alignment across web and mobile interfaces. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and content team to ensure accurate implementation of design elements and maintain design integrity throughout development. 
• Design and Maintain System Management: Continue to enhance and maintain a comprehensive design system, including reusable components, style guides, and assets for efficient project execution and brand consistency. 
• Performance & Feedback Integration: Conduct A/B testing on design elements, track performance metrics, and integrate feedback from users and team members to refine designs based on data-driven insights. 
• Innovation & AI Integration: Explore new technologies like AI to enhance design workflows and user engagement, ensuring Stabal remains at the cutting edge of digital media. 
• Competitor & Trend Analysis: Monitor design trends and competitor visuals to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation within Stabal’s digital presence. 
• Accessibility & Inclusivity: Design with accessibility in mind, creating inclusive digital products that are usable by a diverse range of users, including those with disabilities. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Design Software Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and other relevant design tools. 
• Front-End Development & WordPress: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and proficiency in WordPress for implementing and managing design elements. 
• Graphic Design & Illustration: Strong graphic design skills, with illustration abilities highly desirable to enhance visual storytelling. 
• UX Principles & Best Practices: Strong understanding of user-centred design, UX principles, and best practices. 
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups for visualizing concepts and gathering feedback. 
• Responsive & Adaptive Design: Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design techniques to ensure consistency across devices. 
• User Research & Usability Testing: Familiarity with research and testing methods to gain insights into user behaviour and preferences. 
• Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Understanding of accessibility standards and commitment to inclusive design. 
• Performance Tracking & Optimisation: Experience with A/B testing, performance tracking, and analysing user journey data to optimize designs. 
• Design Systems Management: Ability to create and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components. 
• Creative & Visual Skills: Strong visual aesthetics, attention to detail, and a creative, user-centred mindset. 
• Adaptability & Collaboration: Effective communicator with cross-functional teams, adaptable to changing project needs and timelines. 
• Trend Awareness: Up to date with design trends, competitor analysis, and emerging best practices. 

ELIGIBILITY:

• Must have at least 2 years experience working in in UX/UI Design
• Must be authorised to work in the UK.
• Proficiency in English (Native or Bilingual)
