Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist who understands how data creates business value and is passionate about identifying and implementing data-driven opportunities. The ideal candidate will lead or contribute to impactful data science projects that drive innovation and business performance.

Our client is a leading global organisation with strong presence across the globe. They are looking to hire a Data Scientist to help them on the innovation side.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business managers, product managers, engineers, and designers to gather requirements and understand business processes.

• Apply machine learning techniques to core focus areas such as filter lifetime prediction, air quality management and recommendations, and intelligent industrial filtration.

• Design and execute experiments and back-test algorithms using historical data.

• Provide strategic recommendations on data architecture and analytics frameworks.

• Develop and deploy end-to-end data analytics pipelines.

• Design, test, and deploy machine learning models to solve real-world business problems.

• Build frameworks for organization-wide experimentation.

• Cleanse, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources for both technical and business stakeholders.

• Implement data mining and feature engineering strategies to derive meaningful insights.

• Leverage advanced data visualization tools for reporting and presentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Python or R; strong SQL skills.

• Experience in big data tools and platforms such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus.

• Extensive hands-on experience with tools like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Jupyter, R, etc.

• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, clustering).

• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (preferably AWS).
