About the Role:

Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer


Location: Remote


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data ingestion to model serving in production.
  • Develop and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs to support model inference and integration into customer-facing applications.
  • Architect and build robust, reusable ML platforms or frameworks to accelerate experimentation, training, evaluation, and deployment processes.
  • Operationalize ML models, ensuring reliability, scalability, and monitoring in production environments.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, DevOps, and product teams to bring ML solutions from prototype to production.
  • Implement CI/CD practices for ML workflows, including automated testing, validation, and model versioning.
  • Utilize Databricks for data engineering, model training, and experiment tracking; or leverage Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps for end-to-end deployment.
  • Monitor and optimize model performance post-deployment, and implement strategies for model retraining and updates.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance practices are followed throughout the ML lifecycle.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Great hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
  • Proven experience in deploying ML models in real-world production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, FastAPI, etc.
  • Experience with building microservices and RESTful APIs using Python, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, DVC, Kubeflow).
  • Familiarity with Databricks (DBX) and/or Microsoft Azure ML platform, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, etc.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.


Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $125,000 – $140,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
