Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 hourly

Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a Contract basis in Pasadena, Texas. In this role, you will support the HR department by facilitating onboarding processes, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while enhancing your HR expertise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and initiate background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation for new hires.
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date and accurate employee files, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Provide regular status updates to the HR team regarding onboarding progress and employee records.
• Support auditing processes for employee documentation and HR procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to employees and candidates during the onboarding process.
• Utilize ADP software to manage HR-related tasks and ensure smooth data handling.
• Collaborate with team members to address onboarding challenges and streamline processes.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed within the HR department.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in Human Resources or administrative support roles.
• Proficiency in using ADP software for HR functions.
• Familiarity with conducting background checks and processes involving mandatory screenings for candidates.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience in auditing and maintaining accurate employee records.
