Senior HTML/CSS Markup Developer

We are looking for a Senior HTML/CSS Markup Developer to join our development team and contribute to building high-quality, responsive user interfaces.

This role focuses on creating clean, maintainable code and collaborating with designers and developers to deliver exceptional web experiences. If you have a passion for crafting pixel-perfect layouts and optimizing web performance, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities


  • Develop responsive and accessible web interfaces using HTML and CSS
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure accurate implementation of UI/UX designs
  • Create adaptive layouts optimized for various devices and screen sizes
  • Implement CSS/JS animations to enhance user interactions
  • Work with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less for modular and maintainable styling
  • Optimize web pages for performance and fast loading times
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent styling across major platforms
  • Conduct quality assurance and debugging to resolve layout and styling issues
  • Maintain and update existing codebases to align with project requirements


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as an HTML coder
  • Advanced skills in writing clean and structured CSS code
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and cross-browser layout techniques
  • Expertise in creating animations using CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less for scalable styling solutions
  • Knowledge of optimizing web applications for performance and speed
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop
  • Must reside in Ukraine (remote work is available only for candidates based in Ukraine)
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher


Nice to have


  • Familiarity with front-end build tools like Gulp or Webpack
  • Knowledge of creating and optimizing HTML email templates
  • Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind
  • Proficiency in working with template engines like Pug or Handlebars
  • Background in working with Canvas API, WebGL, Three.js, or GSAP for advanced graphics and animations
