We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the development, automation, and optimization of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.

This role involves designing scalable cloud solutions, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating across teams to support our mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant infrastructure on GCP
  • Manage and optimize GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes (GKE), and Cloud Storage
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager
  • Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for seamless build, testing, and deployment across environments
  • Standardize and enhance deployment workflows to improve reliability and agility
  • Automate repetitive tasks and operational workflows to reduce manual effort and errors
  • Implement and maintain IAM policies, network firewalls, and role management to meet security best practices
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and architects for seamless integration of infrastructure with application flows
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and apply long-term remediation measures
  • Monitor system performance and optimize resource usage for cost-efficiency and high availability


Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on GCP infrastructure
  • Expertise in GCP services including GKE, IAM, Cloud Networking, and Pub/Sub
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Proven track record in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications using GitLab CI/CD
  • Competency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automation
  • Knowledge of Git and modern version control systems for collaborative development
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system observability and reliability
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills within collaborative team environments
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture best practices, security frameworks, and cost management strategies


Nice to have


  • Background in serverless solutions using tools like Cloud Functions or Cloud Run
  • Expertise in service mesh architectures and tools such as Istio
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Understanding of Agile development practices and methodologies
  • Showcase of Google Cloud Certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer
