Fullstack Engineer - Java / React and JavaScript (all genders)

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our Partner Tech - Tech Foundation. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development of full-stack applications, sharing frontend skills to backend developers, and owning domain-agnostic platform technologies that enable other domain teams to build domain-specific solutions. You will work closely with a group of proactive, self-organised, and collaborative engineers, who value teamwork and knowledge sharing.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Develop, maintain, and improve our Partner Communication Platform with Kotlin/Java, Postgres, Kubernetes, AWS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React.
• Own the whole development cycle end-to-end - from architecture design to implementation and testing and as well maintenance of our products
• Take ownership and proactively identify opportunities for product improvement, optimising performance, and collaborating with other teams.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code, and transferring knowledge on design patterns and principles.
• Collaborate with other engineers and teams to design scalable and robust solutions that meet the needs of our internal domain teams.
• Sharing knowledge on frontend development and best practices.
  
  
  
  

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• 3+ years of experience in frontend and backend development with proficiency in Kotlin/Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design principles and cloud services.
• Experience working with relational databases, authentication/authorization mechanisms and event-driven systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and curiosity and willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a self-organised and collaborative team as a team player.
