Job Role / Responsibilities

Mission

Administer and manage the relevant infrastructure in compliance with industry best practices, policies and standards in force within the area of application.

To actively learn to improve actual and further technical procedures.

Role Summary

The successful candidate should be located close to Milan, Italy with ability to travel within the Europe.

Main criteria for searching are IT and Security management experience.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities Include

Continuous Development and Integration

  • Implement, and manage continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with a strong focus on security.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful integration of application into production systems, following security best practices.

Security Automation

  • Automate security processes, including security testing, source code scanning, and static analysis.
  • Implement automated security tools to identify and respond to potential threats.

Monitoring and Incident Response

  • Manage monitoring tools to identify anomalous behaviors or attacks.
  • Ensure business continuity in case of service disruption.
  • Work with the incident response team to develop and test incident response plans.

IT Management

  • Manage IT management processes, tools systems to ensure security and operations of infrastructure.

Configuration Management

  • Manage configuration management tools to ensure consistency and security of infrastructure configurations.

Reporting

  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports detailing security and performance metrics.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Governance

  • Propose and improve policies, processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure an integrated security strategy to comply with adopted standards.

Desired Skills

  • Fluent English & Italian.
  • Networking knowledge (CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
  • Knowledge of Cloud solutions (AWS, Google Cloud, MS Azure).
  • Knowledge of Virtualization solutions (VmWare, Citrix).
  • Knowledge of regular expressions.
  • Knowledge of FW, IDS, IPS (intrusion prevention systems), WAF (Web Application Firewall), DNS, DC, GPO, Hardening, Web Filter, and so on.
  • Knowledge of middleware and application servers and protocols status codes.
  • Knowledge of Malware functionality and propagation.
  • Knowledge of Command execution analysis.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration and user commands and shell.
  • Knowledge of patch and configuration management (Satellite, Wsus).
  • Knowledge of log management and security event analysis (Splunk, SumoLogic).

Certifications/Qualifications

Optional Certifications (Not Mandatory)

  • Certified SysOps Engineer (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); Certified Network Engineering (CCNA, CompTIA Network+); Security Engineer (CompTIA Security+, eJPT); VmWare Certified Technical Associate.
