Our client is seeking a visionary leader to head end-to-end manufacturing operations and deliver exceptional performance across safety, quality, compliance, and supply.

Your objectives:
As the Manufacturing Unit Head, you will be measured against the following objectives:
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead manufacturing operations to ensure uninterrupted, cost-effective, and compliant drug substance supply.
- Integrate new technologies and products while championing digitalization and Lean principles.
What you will do:
As the Manufacturing Unit Head, your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Define and communicate the manufacturing vision and goals across the site.
· Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams aligned with strategic objectives.
· Drive a safety-first, quality-driven culture throughout manufacturing operations.
· Represent Manufacturing during audits and regulatory inspections.
· Ensure GMP-compliant, reliable supply of drug substances.
· Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
· Champion Lean, digital transformation, and data-driven manufacturing.
· Oversee integration of new products, technologies, and processes.
What you will bring:
These are the skills and experience you will need to succeed as the Manufacturing Unit Head:
· Minimum 10 years' experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or manufacturing technology roles
· Deep expertise in mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and large-scale bioprocessing.
· Proven leadership experience in large, matrixed environments.
· Strong grasp of Opex tools and cost optimisation in manufacturing.
· In-depth knowledge of global GMP regulations, validation, and tech transfer.
· Strategic thinker with a mindset for continuous improvement and innovation.
· Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
· MSc in Biotechnology, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
· Fluency in English; local language a plus.
