Golang Tech Lead

We’re hiring a Senior Go Engineer – Tech Lead to join an agile and international team at the tech innovation hub of Europe’s largest retail group. You’ll help shape the future of large-scale, scalable backend systems and infrastructure solutions — with a strong focus on hands-on development and technical leadership.

Your mission

You’ll take ownership of backend services built in Go and lead the design and development of our internal Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of our systems.

What you’ll do

• Architect, design, and build scalable and secure backend services using Go.
• Own and drive development of core features for our IAM solution.
• Collaborate with international teams, including product managers and DevOps engineers.
• Mentor and guide other engineers in clean code practices and system design.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure software quality and performance.
• Create and maintain technical and architectural documentation.
• Stay on top of Go and backend development trends to bring in best practices.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in backend development with Go (Golang).
• Previous experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring teams.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts is a plus.
• Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Fluent in English (our working language across teams).
