Job Description

For the newly established Data Analytics & Reporting department in Automotive Finance & Controlling, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Analyst & Visualist.

This role involves analyzing data to support business decisions and creating & designing compelling visualizations that transform complex data into clear & actionable insights.

Main Tasks:

• Perform detailed exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.
• Utilize statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Work with large datasets to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis
• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, or similar.
• Develop and design data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and findings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into visual solutions.
• Ensure visualizations are user-friendly and accessible to non-technical stakeholders and follow the governance standards
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data analysis processes and methodologies
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
• Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on using data visualizations and reports.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data analysis and data visualization.
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting logic, tools (e.g. FiRe, SAP R/3 and BW) and guidelines.
• Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and data manipulation.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus or SQL /data querying is of advantage.
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and other BI tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Experience in working in international and intercultural teams preferred
