DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support operations, automation, and delivery within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, Azure services, containerization, and static code analysis tools. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and support day-to-day DevOps activities in Agile delivery environments.
• Analyze and improve quality gates using static code analysis tools like SonarQube and Snyk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational and security gaps.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and ensure smooth delivery pipelines.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Generate metric reports and performance dashboards to highlight key operational indicators.
• Automate recurring tasks and reduce manual interventions using scripting and tools.
• Evaluate and recommend tools to enhance DevOps process efficiency.
• Conduct reviews and suggest improvements to existing DevOps procedures.

Essential Skills:

1. Terraform and Ansible proficiency for infrastructure automation.
2. Experience with the Ansible Automation Platform.
3. Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, AKS).
4. Expertise in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
5. Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
6. Familiarity with SonarQube, Snyk, or similar code quality and security tools.
7. Deep understanding of DevOps principles, including configuration management, CI/CD, and monitoring.
8. At least one relevant certification such as:

• Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400)
• Azure Administrator
• Terraform Associate
• Red Hat Ansible Specialist
• Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)

Desirable Skills:

• Scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
• Understanding of GitOps tools and practices (e.g., Flux, ArgoCD).
• Experience with ServiceNow for workflow and incident management.
