Business Analyst

Purpose of the Role:

The Business Analyst in this position will act as a bridge between business units and technical teams by understanding the analysis, data, and reporting needs of the business and developing suitable technical solutions. The role will contribute to strategic decision-making processes by delivering data-driven reports and analyses.

• Gather, analyze, and document analysis, data, and reporting needs from business units
• Develop meaningful reports and dashboards using tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau
• Analyze business processes, create requirement analyses and user stories
• Collaborate closely with technical teams (software developers, data engineers, etc.) to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements
• Analyze the existing data structure, propose improvements to enhance data quality and reporting processes
• Prepare performance and KPI reports periodically and present them to management
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar fields
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, or business intelligence projects
• Advanced knowledge of SQL; capable of writing complex queries
• Proficient in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel Pivot
• Preferably knowledgeable about Agile and SDLC methodologies
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels
• Skilled in presenting analysis results and competent in reporting
• Proactive, result-oriented, and eager to learn
