Adeptis Group is partnering with a globally recognised professional services firm in Oslo to find an experienced Risk and Business Continuity Consultant who can enhance organisational resilience and preparedness across client operations. This role is perfect for someone with expertise in risk management, ICT security and emergency planning. You’ll lead initiatives to develop and implement continuity frameworks aligned with ISO standards, ensuring compliance and readiness in a dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing a comprehensive Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategy. Collaborating closely with client teams, you’ll conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA), lead risk assessments and support continuity planning including developing and testing response procedures. You’ll ensure alignment with regulatory standards and internal governance while fostering a culture of readiness through testing, exercises and compliance oversight.


Key Responsibilities


Business Impact Analysis & Continuity Strategy: Conduct in-depth BIAs to identify critical business functions, develop continuity strategies, and design practical solutions to support operational resilience.

Risk Assessments & Governance: Perform risk assessments, incorporating compliance with ISO standards and regulatory frameworks to ensure robust continuity planning.

Continuity Planning & Testing: Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity plans and procedures, including coordinating and scoping disaster recovery (DR) tests and exercises.

Regulatory Compliance & Internal Governance: Ensure that all continuity measures meet regulatory compliance and internal governance standards, adapting frameworks as needed to align with evolving requirements.

Awareness & Training Programs: Lead training initiatives to enhance staff preparedness and awareness, emphasizing security protocols and emergency response planning.



Requirements


Experience: Demonstrable experience in business continuity, information security management, or compliance, preferably within consultancy, including expertise in BIA, risk assessments, gap analysis and regulatory compliance.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of ISO standards (ISO 22301 being highly valued), BCM best practices, and business continuity

frameworks, with the ability to tailor recommendations to client needs.

Testing & Crisis Management Skills: Practical experience conducting disaster recovery testing, continuity exercises, and emergency planning.

Communication: Good interpersonal skills, capable of clearly conveying risk and continuity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Language: Norwegian, with proficiency in English as an advantage.
