Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for a Data Analyst (Co-op Student) to join our operations team.
As a Data Analyst (Co-op Student) in our operations division, you will have the opportunity to mine and analyze construction project and financial reporting data stored in various spreadsheets, identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve effectiveness & efficiency. As Maple Reinders is a growing organization, we are continually winning new work, larger projects and with that come new experiences and new challenges.
As a Data Analyst (Co-op Student) you will be involved in the following tasks
- Design, build and maintain analytical models that mine large sets of structured and semi-structured data looking for unique insights and correlations.
- Applies intellectual curiosity and deep analytical thinking to mine large data sets for insight and correlation.
- Develop analysis to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities.
- Distil data into findings and prepare results for presentation to management for decision making.
- Engage stakeholders to understand informational pain points and drive analytics solution that address them.
- A full-time student enrolled in a related post-secondary program of study
- Recent graduate of a University Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Business Management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in Microsoft Excel, database management, and preforming data manipulation and reporting.
- Travel will be required on a case basis.
