With multiple locations across Canberra, and nationwide, the organisation seeks only the most skilled and professional individuals to assist them in developing programs, policies and initiatives that will improve the quality of life for vulnerable Australians.

The Role

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer who will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in complex problem solving and issues management within the functions.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, building, deploying, and supporting the Agency's Cloud & Data Infrastructure
• Prioritise work items and add them to a work queue
• Ensuring that the solution follows integration best practices
• Work with business consumers to ensure desired business outcomes are reached

Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services
• Experience in building and deploying of DevOps practices, tools, and continuous delivery pipelines such as GitLab, Artifactory, and Jira
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform
• Ability to write moderately complex code across multiple languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Golang
• Experience with containerisation, cluster deployment and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes
