About the role:
Kinetic IT are hiring an experienced Network Engineer to join us on a full-time permanent basis. As a Network Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining our enterprise clients network infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and connectivity across the business. This role requires a proactive problem solver with strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting and maintaining Cisco Unified Communications Manager to ensure optimal performance.
- Configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Cisco networking and Fortinet security solutions.
- Supporting and maintaining Genesys Pure Connect.
- Managing and resolving incidents and service requests via ServiceNow.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance network stability and performance.
- Providing exceptional customer service with clear communication and a solution-focused approach.
- Strong technical expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Networking, and Fortinet.
- Desirable but not necessary to have experience with Genesys Pure Connect.
- Experience working with ServiceNow for ticket management.
- Possesses relevant industry certifications such CCNA and or CCNP, NSE4 – 7, Genesys Certified Professional and ITILv4.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
