Our client, a Solen Software Group portfolio company, is a dynamic Fleet Management Software & GPS telematics company focused tracking everything, everywhere, all at once. They help utilities, equipment rental fleets, police, first responders, and North American municipalities/state/local governments fleets run efficiently.

We are looking to hire a top-tier Product Manager to help continue our client’s advancement as a leader in the fleet management and GPS telematics space.

What you will do

You will work to focus the potential of our client’s GPS telematics and fleet management software and hardware solutions so customers can access the appropriate relevant actionable data and analytics. You will be responsible for the success and growth of our client’s product offering as measured by project ideation to completion, client satisfaction, software adoption, and subsequent new sales, helping make the product simple and intuitive to use, but also powerful and meaningful for enterprise clients.

You will be expected to have strong industry knowledge of the verticals we serve to drive the software in meaningful directions that will be exciting and valuable to clients. It is also required to have direct, firsthand experience with GPS tracking, vehicle telematics (OBDII, J1939, etc.), dash cameras, and other wireless IoT hardware and their configurations as used in the field by our clients. Prior experience will be crucial to lead the product roadmap, and define clear project requirements.

This role is client oriented, results driven, and requires collaborative solutions. You will need to work well in a fast paced, cross functional, and entrepreneurial environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Leverage and apply industry expertise to our client’s software product and OTC hardware usage to continue fostering our 20+ years as a leader in GPS telematics and fleet management.
• Drive future product strategies and implementations to continually deliver meaningful solutions to both existing and potential clients.
• Work with the technology team including UX, developers, and QA to efficiently plan, execute, and deliver features on the product roadmap.
• Provide exceptional service to clients by meeting their product needs, providing clarity to the Support Team, and occasionally acting as an escalation point for product related issues.
• Have a deep knowledge of GPS tracking, vehicle telematics (OBDII, J1939, etc), and wireless IoT hardware to create and manage device configurations that will provide our clients with actionable data specific to their needs.
  
  

Your Qualifications Include

• C1/C2 English level.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience.
• Industry experience managing asset tracking in one or more of the following industries, public sector, municipal/state fleets, utilities, first responders, construction, field services, trucking, or similar.
• Experience managing software projects that improve existing solutions and/or integrate entirely new systems and vendors.
• Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
• Strong familiarity with enterprise asset management and mobile IoT hardware including all vehicle telematics devices that use OBDII and JBUS data, in-vehicle modems, and dash cameras; including their functionality, configurations, and messaging protocols.
• Experience working with project management tools like Jira, Wrike, and Confluence preferred.
