Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in developing robust data assets and laying the groundwork for scalable machine learning systems.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to clean legacy data assets, build foundational systems, and implement MLOps frameworks in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement GCP Type 2 MLOps platforms to automate processes such as experimentation, model training pipelines, and deployment
Collaborate with teams to design and maintain scalable data infrastructure in a cloud environment
Work with large-scale datasets to clean, transform, and optimize them for machine learning workflows
Build, monitor, and refine systems to enhance data quality and accessibility across projects
Utilize SQL for complex data manipulation, querying, and transformation to support multiple use cases
Apply programming expertise in Python to develop tools and scripts for data processing and integration
Ensure seamless integration between components such as BigQuery, Vertex AI Platform, and third-party tools
Communicate effectively within distributed teams to align goals and ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

2+ years of software development experience with a proven track record in machine learning engineering
Robust understanding of MLOps frameworks, tools, and workflows
Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform technologies including BigQuery, Vertex AI Platform, Dataform, or Dataplex, with flexibility to work on Amazon Cloud or Azure tools if needed
Expertise in SQL for transforming and querying datasets efficiently
Solid skills in programming languages such as Python for data integration and system development
Background in managing large-scale datasets and cloud-based environments to optimize workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across distributed teams

Nice to have

Familiarity with Dataform and Google Dataplex for advanced data management capabilities
Qualifications in Google Cloud BigQuery for streamlining data processes
Showcase of using Python for complex data integration tasks
