• Build and scale backend systems powering Bitpanda’s Web3 stack — from tokenized assets to dApps


• Design, write, and deploy secure, efficient Ethereum smart contracts


• Deliver clean, production-ready Python code with strong performance and maintainability


• Own architecture decisions and drive technical direction across the team


• Mentor peers, review code, and help build a high-performance engineering culture

• 5+ years of backend experience with a strong focus on Python, Go or Typescript and system architecture


• Touched upon writing and deploying smart contracts on Ethereum (Solidity/EVM)


• Skilled at integrating blockchain services, APIs, databases, and messaging queues


• Solid understanding of scalability, observability, and CI/CD best practices


• Passionate about Web3, hands-on, and driven to build real-world blockchain solutions
