Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Data Migration Assistant who will support mechanical design data migration and data verification tasks.
This is an ideal opportunity for students, freelancers, or individuals seeking their first hands-on experience in a technical or engineering environment.
This job provides a valuable chance to gain hands-on experience in CAD data management and PDM systems (Product Development Management) within a dynamic engineering project.
This is a fix-term opportunity (3 months). Availability for this position is needed from the beginning of August 2025.
Key responsibilities:
- Support our engineering team with exporting CAD files, assemblies, and metadata from Creo (CAD) /Windchill (PDM) and importing them into NX (CAD) /Teamcenter (PDM).
- Perform verification of the migrated data for accuracy and consistency, including assembly tree and structures, design parameters, and metadata.
- Identify potential data discrepancies and report them to the project team for resolution.
- Support the project team in optimizing data transfer processes and maintaining data integrity.
- Complete or in progress Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Design or a related technical field.
- Basic knowledge of Creo and NX CAD software; experience with CAD data management is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of PLM/PDM systems, especially Windchill and Teamcenter, is highly desirable.
- Analytical mindset with attention to details in handling large datasets.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
