Business Application Support Administrator required for our client, a well-known Irish company providing B2B services.
This role will suit someone who has worked in a busy technical service desk environment providing support to a variety of business applications.
This is a 12m Fixed Term Contract role (possibility to extend) 2 days a week in office/remote in Dublin 1
Responsibilities:
- Become point of contact to user and client queries via phone and email.
- Provide support, and advice to resolve business application issues.
- Troubleshoot, resolve and escalate requests as required
- Liaise with the IT department and external service providers
- Log and monitor all requests through the IT Helpdesk software.
- Manage user access and security requests in-line with procedures
Requirements:
- Third level IT related qualification
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues and to contribute, test and support new application developments
- ITIL qualifications would be beneficial
