Head of IT Security – build a new team

Head of IT Security opportunity with an ambitious, growing company that are building a high quality IT department from scratch. They had previously outsourced IT, and have taken it in house as part of their growth strategy.

The first order of business is building an excellent leadership team, and then to build out teams underneath them. This is a newly created Head of IT Security role.

You will be responsible for all aspects of IT Security in the organisation (including Cyber Security, GRC, Application Security, Cloud Security). Your mission will be to increase the security maturity of the company, setting it up for further growth. To do so, you will be empowered to build a strong team.

This is a highly autonomous position with excellent opportunity to make an impact. You will report to the CIO, and work closely with the IT Leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have strong IT security experience, excellent team management skills and the drive & ambition to make a real impact in a growing organisation.

Skills / experience:

• 10 - 15+ years’ Information Security/Cyber Security/IT Security Experience

• Strong team management skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders

Package:

• €100,000 - €120,000 DOE + strong benefits
