** This position is open to candidates based remotely in Ireland.**

We are looking for an experienced Mid/Sen Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development. In this role, you will be working primarily on backend services, leveraging .NET, C#, Azure, and SQL, with significant involvement in API integration. This role is ideal for engineers who excel in backend development, API integrations, and cloud environments and are passionate about building robust and scalable solutions within a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend software solutions focused on reliability and performance.
• Architect and implement API integrations, specifically with third-party APIs, to enhance platform functionality.
• Build and optimize services using Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and fault-tolerant deployment.
• Conduct code and design reviews to uphold backend development standards and best practices.
• Enhance test coverage and conduct integration tests to ensure platform stability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support backend operations, troubleshooting, and monitoring within production environments.

Experience:

• Backend Development: Expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and SignalR.
• 5-7 years commercial development experience
• API Integration: Mandatory experience in working with third-party APIs.
• Cloud Services: Advanced proficiency with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Blob Storage, SQL Database, Key Vault, and CDN.
• DevOps Practices: Familiarity with GitHub Actions, CI/CD processes, and an understanding of DevSecOps principles.
• System Design: Skilled in designing scalable, distributed, and highly available backend systems.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
