Software Engineer - Fintech

I'm currently partnered with a leading Fintech client focused on accountancy hiring for a backend engineer with .NET experience on a permanent basis.

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join their team and play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for their customers. You will work on diverse projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using .NET technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and efficient software applications using either C# and .NET Core.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate with external systems, APIs, and data sources to enhance functionality and data exchange.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and quality of the software.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Document software designs, technical specifications, and user guides to ensure clarity and maintainability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven professional working experience as a Software Engineer, with proficiency C#
• Experience in the Fintech sector is a bonus.
• Experience working with JavaScript and React.js is a plus.
• Familiarity with database systems such as, SQL and NoSQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
