JOB MISSION:
We are seeking a Digital Business Analyst to join our EMEA Direct to Consumer organisation, headquartered in Amsterdam. As a Digital Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing and interpreting key business data (e.g. revenue, margin, inventory and commercial performance) to drive strategic decision-making for our eCommerce and marketplace businesses.
You will work closely with partners across digital, merchandising, finance, and BI, providing data-driven insights that optimise business performance. Using Power BI and other analytical tools, you will develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making across the organisation.

JOB MISSION:
We are seeking a Digital Business Analyst to join our EMEA Direct to Consumer organisation, headquartered in Amsterdam. As a Digital Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing and interpreting key business data (e.g. revenue, margin, inventory and commercial performance) to drive strategic decision-making for our eCommerce and marketplace businesses.
You will work closely with partners across digital, merchandising, finance, and BI, providing data-driven insights that optimise business performance. Using Power BI and other analytical tools, you will develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making across the organisation.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Business Performance Analysis
- Analyse sales, revenue, profitability, and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc performance reports to key partners.
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes with data-driven insights.
- Lead a variety of projects to solve complex business problems, advising on and providing solutions to the business.
- Track and evaluate performance across direct eCommerce and marketplace channels (Zalando, ASOS, etc.).
- Analyse product sell-through rate and promotional effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualise key performance metrics in partnership with the Digital Analytics Manager.
- Ensure and own the data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.
- Work with BI teams to enhance data infrastructure and reporting automation.
- Partner with finance, merchandising, and commercial teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Support and advise on strategic planning and business reviews with data-backed recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Web Analyst and Digital Analytics Manager to ensure a broad approach to digital data.
- Relevant number of years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, or a similar data-focused role.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in SQL and/or Python as well as Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools).
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, or marketplace analytics is a plus.
- Solid understanding of financial metrics (revenue, margin, profitability, inventory turns, etc.).
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
