Java Developer (f/m/x)

Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

Based in Bucharest Excellence Centre, we are looking for Camunda BPM engineers to help us build a new green field workflow platform for Deutsche Bank. This will be the strategic platform for workflow automation in Deutsche Bank.

You’ll work closely with our Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Security Specialists, Architects as well as other internal and external developers to implement complex solutions from the scratch and deliver them as cloud ready applications to be operated as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and document java-based software components in accordance with requirements specification, functional and technical design documents.
• Identify and fix software bugs to ensure smooth application performance.
• Write automated unit tests using frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.
• Follow coding standards and best practices, maintaining high-quality software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers and product managers to build scalable solutions.
  
  
  

Skills

• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and Camunda.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
• Understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
